Introduction

Getting Started

Welcome to CALMS! We are excited that you have decided to join CALMS platform for ongoing energy optimisation. Now that you’re registered, you can use CALMS to perform energy assessments, audits, collect monitoring data and track your progress with KPIs and connect with independent experts, service providers, OEMs and ESCO investors. This guide will help you get started so you can fully engage in the CALMS experience on the web.

Monitoring Guide

Remote energy monitoring and optional control systems are designed for large facilities such as industrial factories, with some degree of automation.

Edge devices collect data from sensorstelemetry streams, user inputs or pre-programmed procedures and send it to CALMS cloud. The data it there stored, aggregated and analyzed. It can be then accessed via CALMS web application at app.calms.com.

Audit Guide

CALMS is designed for compressed air experts for audits and surveys with detail analysis and actual savings actions identifications.

Instructions for the use of CALMS Compressed Air Leak Management system

We have developed a internet based application CALMS for dealing with compressed air leakages, based on experience in eliminating leaks and learning on many mistakes. It is very important to eliminate leaks and include company management in the program, so we have developed Internet-based software that allows rapid creation of reports by cost and quantitative evaluation of the work. CALMS encourages companies to carry out inspections and eliminate leaks. CALMS is a tool for the maintenance team, which systematically eliminates and records leaks in the company as well as for the management company that has control over a very important costly energy product - compressed air. At the same time CALMS tool is used by an external company, which makes once in a period (usually 1 year) review and approval of the leak management. An additional advantage is that CALMS  enables easy and fast data input, transparency and automatically generate reports for management and maintenance.

Compressed air

Compressed air is a multi-purpose energy source that is used in a variety of different industries today. In fact, close to 10% of the industry’s energy consumption is used to produce compressed air.
